2022 Scale A Permanent Full-time Teacher – Level 2 Māori Bilingual unit

Nau mai, tono mai ngā kaiako e hīkaka ana ki te whakaako i ngā tamariki katoa, ngākaunui ki te reo, he pai hoki te mahitahi.

This position will suit a teacher who has a proficiency and passion for te reo Māori and is wanting to promote success for Māori learners in a Level 2 bilingual unit. They will also be current in their practice and are excited by the opportunities to work with dedicated colleagues in a collaborative team.

It is important to us that we select teachers with qualities and characteristics that complement our team and bring new energy and inspiration.

Quality relationships are something we see as an essential component to teaching at our school; an ability to foster positive relationships with our tamariki, whānau and colleagues is essential.

Also of critical importance are sound literacy, numeracy and inquiry skills as well as the ability to engage with digital technologies as part of our conceptualised curriculum.

As this is a position within a bilingual unit a drive to grow language, culture and tikanga practices is important to us.
