Te Mahuri Kapa Haka

Te Mahuri will begin rehearsing in term two in preparation for the Cultural Festival that takes place later this year.

A Moment to Remember

Members of our girls cricket team participated in a coaching clinic co-ordinated by respected coaches such as Sir Richard Hadlee as part of a Cricket World Cup promotion. As part of this they met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Thank you E Pa!

On Thursday we gathered to celebrate the 23 years of service E Pa has given our school. Although he has retired E Pa has promised us he will continue to have a real presence at our school.

Future Problem Solving

This year we are in our third year of Future Problem Solving (FPS) and have entered the competitive section. FPS is a national programme where children work in teams to solve problems.

A new innovation this year is the Year 5/6 Photography Club led by Miss Falkner.

Nothing like a hot chocolate for the kids and coffee for the parents from our own Oakleaf Cafe in the hall.
